Aluminium trading range for the day is 107.4-110.2. Aluminium dropped giving up some of its gains from April rally tracking Shanghai aluminium which fell 1.9 percent, after last month's more than 7-percent rise.
The recent spike in prices is prompting aluminium producers to restart their plants, adding that 1.7 million tonnes per year of capacity had already been restarted.
Aluminum daily stocks at Shanghai exchange came down by 1615 tonnes.
