Zinc trading range for the day is 183.3-191.9. Zinc prices dropped after China wrong-footed investors and boosted interest rates, sparking concern about a clampdown on speculators. China's central bank to raise short-term interest rates on the first day back from a long holiday, in a further sign of a tightening policy bias. Zinc weekly stocks at Shanghai exchange came down by 142 tonnes.
