Nickel trading range for the day is 632.3-661.3. Nickel gained as the dollar weakened and investors remained upbeat about the outlook for Chinese metal demand. Global miner and trader Glencore said nickel production for the first half dropped 10 percent. LME data showed on warrant or available nickel inventories at 247,428 - their lowest since January.
