Nickel trading range for the day is 746.7-789.5. Nickel gained tracking LME three-month nickel climbed 2 percent to end at $12,035 a tonne after touching $12,095, the highest since November 2016. Nickel prices remained supported due in part to Chinese stainless steel mill demand and decreased supplies from the Philippines.Net imports of refined nickel were 19,700 tonnes in July, the highest monthly total so far this year.
