Copper trading range for the day is 452.9-461.7. Copper settled down -0.6% slipped amid investor profit-taking, as fall came after a month of strong gains, with prices still up 5.2% on-the-month. China’s refined copper output increased 9.8 percent to 786,000 tonnes, highest since December 2014. Optimism about Chinese demand was boosted overnight by an unexpected December rise in manufacturing and a pick up in new orders.
