Aluminium trading range for the day is 133.2-137. Aluminium gained on short covering after prices dropped as cuts to Chinese smelting capacity came to an end. In China, metals inventories have built despite pollution controls that curbed factory output. Shanghai aluminium stocks surged by 87,303 tonnes to a record high of 934,216 tonnes, data showed.
