Silver trading range for the day is 39693-40849. Silver rose as the dollar retreated as tame U.S. inflation data indicated that the Federal Reserve will stay on track with gradual rate hikes this year. The Fed would stick to plans for two additional rate hikes this year, but tempered expectations for a more aggressive pace of monetary tightening. Interest rates are unlikely to move dramatically in the coming years, European Central Bank Governing Council member Philip Lane said.
