Nickel trading range for the day is 1024-1056.4. Nickel prices recovered on short covering as supply concerns emerged over environmental restrictions in Inner Mongolia. China's nickel production rose 2.5% month-on-month in May to 12,200 mt, with more working days in May than April. Since mid-March, Chinese economic news flow has been increasingly underperforming relative to expectations.
