Nickel trading range for the day is 995.4-1028.4. Nickel prices gained getting some support from shrinking inventories in China and abroad as well as the closed import arbitrage window. Nickel ore inventories across all Chinese ports increased 380,000 wmt from a week ago to 8.16 million wmt, data showed. US home construction surged to near an 11-year high in May, driven by an acceleration in both single-family and multi-family home constructions.
