Zinc trading range for the day is 207.7-220.1. Zinc prices gained as support seen after the government in China's northern province of Hebei announced environmental inspections on the acid industry. China’s central bank lent 463 billion yuan ($72.43 billion) to financial institutions via its 1-year medium-term lending facility (MLF) with rates unchanged. China produced 444,600 mt of refined zinc in April, down 0.3% month on month and up 7.1% year on year.
