EPIC RESEARCH MCX Nickel UPDATE OF 3 December 2018

Nickel trading range for the day is 756.1-791.9.

* Nickel prices gained on short covering tracking LME prices gained 1.3 percent after price earlier pulled down by worries about a supply surplus in 2019.

* Nickel ore output in the Philippines, fell 1 percent in the first nine months of 2018 from a year earlier to 22.2 million dry metric tonnes.

* Nickel ore inventories across all Chinese ports decreased by 620,000 wmt from a week ago to stand at 13.84 million wmt as of Friday November 30, data showed. -
