Aluminium trading range for the day is 114.6-116.6. Aluminium gained despite the barrage of positive global manufacturing data from China, the US, the UK and the rest of Europe. The net long position fell to 145,790 lots as of December 30 – longs liquidated 8,636 lots and shorts sold 6,710 lots. Investors were also hedging their bets ahead of U.S. non-farm payroll data due to be released on Friday.
