Zinc trading range for the day is 209.5-218.7. Zinc prices recovered amid expectations of solid demand and a crackdown on polluting mines and smelters in China. The global zinc market deficit widened to 39,600 tonnes in August from a revised deficit of 23,200 tonnes in July, data from the ILZSG showed. China's September zinc and zinc alloy output rose by 25,000 tonnes month on month to 398,000 tonnes.
