Aluminium trading range for the day is 136.8-141.4. Aluminium dropped tracking weakness in other metals and LME prices dropped by 0.3 percent at $2,175.50, recovering from a low of $2,149.50 on Jan. 9. Despite the supply-side reform and winter cuts last year, recovered and newly-added capacity made up for the suspended capacity.Domestic aluminium ingots inventory stood at 1.76 million mt, up by 1.42 million mt from a year ago.
