Copper trading range for the day is 448.4-457. Copper settled flat with the relatively stronger dollar and thin liquidity restricting the metals. The main union of Chile´s Los Pelambres copper mine will vote on a new contract its members have not yet received and which could lead to a strike if they refuse.

Copper inventories in warehouses monitored by the Shanghai Futures Exchange rose 19.1 percent from last Friday, the exchange said.
