Copper trading range for the day is 449.1-460.1. Copper prices gained helped by a weaker dollar and expectations of strong demand in China. China aims to expand its economy by around 6.5 percent this year, the same as in 2017.

Data in the next few weeks in China, is expected to show growth was mostly stable at the start of the year as exports picked up
