The global nickel market deficit widened to 15,800 tonnes in January from a revised deficit of 12,300 tonnes in the previous month, the INSG said. China imported 14,710 mt of refined nickel and its alloy in February, down 44.9% month on month, and down 7.9% year on year, according to China Customs.
