Aluminium trading range for the day is 145.2-150.8.

* Aluminium gained despite news that Rusal, in response to the US sanction, will set up a traders’ team in China for the transaction of its aluminium ingot.

* Global primary aluminium output edged up by 0.16 percent month on month to 5.485 million tonnes in August.

* Chinese production was estimated to have risen by 0.16 percent to 3.12 million tonnes, data showed.
