Naturalgas trading range for the day is 200-218.6.

* Natural gas prices gained on forecasts for colder than previously anticipated weather in mid-January.

* The U.S. EIA reported that U.S. natural gas stockpiles decreased by 20 billion cubic feet for the week ending December 28.

* The five-year average for the week is a withdrawal of 121 billion cubic feet, and last year’s withdrawal totaled 122 billion cubic feet.
